Theodoros Angelides joined the firm in 2014 during his apprenticeship. Since 2015 and after obtaining his license, he has been practicing law in Nicosia, acting on behalf physical and legal entities, local and foreign, and consulting them in Intellectual Property, Competition, Corporate and Commercial matters.

 

Theodoros is a Partner of our firm, heading on Intellectual Property matters and serving under the Litigation Department. Theodoros is also a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner (IP) able to handle Liquidations, Receiverships, Administrations and other matters including pursuing scheme of arrangement for companies under distress.

 

Education & Court Admissions

Theodoros regularly appears before courts of all instances in Cyprus in regards to various matters including those he specialises in as well as before the Cyprus Trademark and Patent Office for all relevant procedures before them. Theodoros also attends seminars relating to Intellectual Property, Banking and Financial matters. He also takes part in Intellectual Property meetings such as INTA’s and ECTA’s Annual Meetings.

Appointed member of the Cyprus Bar Association Committee on Ethics of Lawyers, Lawyers-Judges Relationships and Complaints against the Administration since 2020.

Appointed member of the Cyprus Bar Association Intellectual Property Committee since 2020.

Insolvency Practitioner since 2021.

Member of INTA (International Trademark Association), MARQUES and ECTA (European Community Trademark Association).
